High in protein? Absolutely, with 20 % protein our bar can easily keep up with the competition.
Vegan? Yes, we use rice and pea protein to keep the bar purely plant-based. And because that was too easy for us, we also made it organic.
Sugar-free? We rely entirely on the sweetness of dates and coconut syrup for our bar. Refined sugar and other sweeteners do not make it into the recipe.

At KoRo, we analyse the greenhouse gas emissions that are produced during the production of our snacks. These include, among other things, CO2, methane and nitrous oxide. Our hard-working sustainability team collects all the information to calculate a value: the so-called CO2 equivalents. Wusstest Du, dass es ungefähr 1500 Dattelsorten gibt? Allerdings werden viele von ihnen nicht kommerziell angebaut. In Deutschland sind vor allem Medjool-Datteln besonders beliebt.

Pflanzliche Proteinquellen

Da wir kein Molke- oder Milcheiweiß verwenden, müssen wir auf pflanzliche Proteinquellen zurückgreifen. Aber sei Dir sicher, Abstriche musst Du deswegen nicht machen – im Gegenteil.

Reisprotein

Reisprotein ist das pflanzliche Protein aus dem Reiskorn. Durch verschiedene Keim- und Fermentationsprozesse kann das Eiweiß extrahiert werden und somit für unsere veganen Proteinriegel verwendet werden.

Erbsenprotein

Auch Erbsenprotein ist wunderbar geeignet, um tierisches Eiweiß zu ersetzen. Besonders durch die Kombination verschiedener pflanzlicher Proteinquellen kann die biologische Wertigkeit des Proteinriegels gesteigert werden.

When should you eat protein bars?

You can take our protein bar as a snack at any time. Even before or after sports, the protein bar provides you with extra energy. You can also enjoy it as a protein-rich topping in yogurt, muesli or porridge.

Is the hazelnut protein bar without sugar?

We sweeten our protein bar with coconut syrup and avoid refined sugar and sweeteners. So the protein bar is not completely without sugar - but the dates and coconut syrup give the protein bar a pleasant sweetness.

Is the vegan protein bar hazelnut gluten-free?

Our energy bar is naturally without gluten. However, it may happen that foods containing gluten are also processed in production. Therefore, we do not declare the protein bar as gluten-free.

What is the shelf life of the protein bar with chocolate and hazelnut?

After production, our protein bar has a shelf life of 13 months. You can find the exact best before date on the packaging of your protein bar.
