We use only the best pistachios for our delicious pistachio butter. The pistachios come to you shelled, roasted and processed into a creamy puree. But, first things first: The pistachio is – to the misconception of many – actually not a nut at all. It belongs to the group of stone fruits, which can generally be subordinated to the closed fruits. Their seeds are enclosed in a woody kernel. Pistachios are the fruits of the pistachio tree. Our pistachios come from Turkey and Iran and are then processed into a tasty cream in Italy.

What is the difference between pistachio butter and pistachio cream?

As a rule, a nut butter is understood to be the pure processing of 100% nuts without any further additives. In many cases, sugar or other ingredients are added to a nut cream. But beware: There are of course exceptions. Our pistachio butter is the pure puree of pistachio kernels, we have only added a pinch of salt.
