Buy now: Organic lentil crisps with sea salt 100g

WANTED: We are looking for whoever stole our organic lentil crisps, which we hid away yesterday for being "too delicious". Since they are made from the little legumes, they are a tasty alternative to conventional potato crisps. We kept looking for them and even found clues: a fine note of sea salt and perfect lentil aroma. But still no real sign of the crisps. Crunchy at every bite, the snack is our loyal companion for board game or TV evenings, for every moment where the cravings hit or, in reality, for any other occasion as well. They have the perfect snack size and convince through their perfect flavour. Once you open them, there is no going back. Before you can even notice, the bag is empty. And that's exactly what our investigation led us to: an empty lentil crisp bag in the bin. We may not know who did it, but we know why: because they are so yummy!

Vegan lentil crisps – you simply can't get enough of this snack

Our organic lentil crisps awaken a thieving side in all of us, because they completely captivate us with their uniquely delicious taste, just like their ingredients. They are 100% vegetable, so that everyone can snack on them. On top of that, they are a great alternative to conventional potato crisps, so you don't get sick of them. To all the salty snackers out there: we have several other incredible crisp alternatives: next to our lentil crisps, you will also find organic sweet potato crisps, organic beetroot crisps or organic tomato crisps (among others) in our shop.

Buy KoRo's lentil crisps

You should hide away your new favourite snack as soon as your KoRo order arrives. Otherwise, the lentil crisps will be gone faster than you can say "KoRo". Another option is to eat them directly (with their flavour, we can't blame you), but then you have to order more straight away! Thanks to their vegan recipe, everyone can enjoy the crunchy treats. Buy our organic lentil crisps now!

Climate impact

At KoRo, we analyse the greenhouse gas emissions that are produced during the production of our snacks. These include, among other things, CO2, methane and nitrous oxide. Our hard-working sustainability team collects all the information to calculate a value: the so-called CO2 equivalents. We are now passing this information on to you so that you can make informed purchasing decisions and keep an eye on your personal carbon footprint. We also use these valuable findings ourselves, to try to make our supply chains even smarter in the future and monitor our CO2 footprint.

CO₂ emissions by product

To make the work of our sustainability team easier, we have teamed up with the company Cozero. They support us with their decarbonisation software to calculate the CO2 emissions of our products. Our products go through a lot before they make their way into your pantry or snack bowl, so there is a lot to take into consideration: production, packaging, and logistics – to name just the big steps.

CO₂ emission per product in comparison

Would you like to find out how well your favourite snack stacks up against other products in terms of carbon footprint? Say no more! To create comparability, we calculated the CO₂ emissions per 1 kg of our products and compared them with other products that end up on many people's plates every day, such as cheese, tofu, and many more. We also included coffee as a drink for comparison. So no matter if it is your favourite snack or your go-to kitchen product, you are now able to see exactly how it performs in our “CO₂ per kg of product” ranking.

Comparison of CO₂ emissions per product in kg

Disclaimer: Different methods (comparison products) - The CO2 emissions of the non-KoRo products come from a different data source. Therefore, there may be differences between their evaluation method and the evaluation of KoRo products.

KoRo x DFB: the direct hit at the start of the European Championships

Our snacks kick differently, and no longer "just" in terms of taste, but now also on the pitch as an official partner of the men's national team. Well, maybe more off the pitch. Or at public viewings, because for the fans, snacks are part and parcel of an exciting soccer match.

Our lentil chips can be kept for at least seven months directly after production under optimal storage conditions. For this, you hide them at best in a cool and dry place, so that also the other crumb monsters of the house do not get to it.
Above all, a balanced and varied diet is healthy. We therefore find it difficult to divide food per se into good, bad, healthy and unhealthy. As always: 'balance is key'! In any case, our organic lentil chips score with their uniquely delicious taste, which can easily compete with classic potato chips.
Our lentil chips contain 10 grams of protein per 100 g and are with 4.5 g a delicious source of fiber. You can always read the other nutritional values and ingredients in the table next to or below the product description and on your packaging.

Great snack idea!

Lentil potato chips are a good alternative for potato chip lovers. They are also delicious and addictive, but somehow less crumbly. A clear recommendation!
