Buy now: Freeze-dried redcurrant 500g
Thousand names, but one berry: cassis, ribes, gooseberry, or simply curranant. Perhaps when you think of red berries, you think about your childhood. Every summer as a child you might have secretly nibbled on these berries that you took from wild trees. But now you do not have to wait for summer to arrive to enjoy the sweet and sour taste of these berries. Thanks to freeze-drying, our red currants are even more flavourful than the freshly picked fruits and super crunchy on top.
Freeze-dried red currants are tasty!
The red currants come from the central european region and are berries filled with vitamins. But worry not, as throughout the dry-freezing process, we make sure that the berries retain all their natural benefits. That is why our red currants are crunchy and are a super-alternative for unhealthy crisps. Thanks to these berries, snacking will never be unhealthy and boring.
Versatile use!
The light sourness of the berries is unique and tastes amazing with all your meals, smoothie bowls and yoghurts. As a topping or as an ingredient in muffins and cakes, the red currants are extremely versatile and can be used as you like and when you like!
Speciality of our freeze-dried red currants
Harvested when ripped and then freeze-dried for taste, which allows the currants to retain their taste and flavours. Not just retain, but the process also allows us to intensify the taste and help currants retain all their nutritional values. Free from added sugars and preservatives, the freeze-dried berries can last long and can be used in off-season times as well. We also believe that we should not limit your choices to red currants, and have therefore introduced a variety of freeze-dried black currants.
