5 large gherkins
200 ml Frying oil
50 g Flour
0.5 tbsp. paprika powder
1 Tsp. Garlic powder
1 Tsp. Cayennepfeffer
30 g Egg substitute powder
60 ml Water
1 handful Cornflakes
4 tbsp. vegane Mayonnaise
0.5 bunch Dill
1 small gherkin
1 small dash of cucumber water
1 Pinch Salt
1 Pinch Pepper

    Mix the egg substitute powder with the water in one bowl, mix the flour with the spices in another bowl and finally crunch the cornflakes into a third bowl.

    First dip one gherkin in the flour mixture, then (patiently) coat with the egg substitute and then dip in the cornflakes.

    Heat the frying oil on a high heat and deep-fry the pickles for a few minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
