Why don't you bake your own bread? Here comes a quick recipe for preparing a juicy wholemeal bread from spelt and almond flour.

500 g Low-fat curd cheese
150 g Almond flour
250 g Whole spelt flour
2 UNIT Eggs
2 Tsp. Salt
2 Tsp. Flaxseed
1 tbsp. Baking powder
100 g Rice protein
2 tbsp. Maple syrup
2 tbsp. Essig
  • Step 1/6

Preheat the oven to 200 °C. If you have one, set the steam function, otherwise simply put a small bowl of water in it. The steam ensures that the crust is nice and crispy.

  • Step 2/6

Weigh all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix. Then add all the wet ingredients and knead everything into a smooth dough.

  • Step 3/6

Form a loaf and cut it with a sharp knife in a star shape at the top. Then brush with water and sprinkle with a few seeds as desired.

  • Step 4/6

Place the loaf on a baking tray covered with baking paper and put it in the oven.

  • Step 5/6

After 10 minutes, open the oven door once to let the steam out. Then reduce the temperature to 170 °C and bake for another half hour.

  • Step 6/6

The bread is ready when it sounds hollow when tapped on the back. Let cool well before cutting, otherwise the dough will stick to the knife.
