You're at the supermarket and have one thing on your mind: Buy seasonal vegetables. Great idea, you think, when you only find potatoes, cabbage and onions on the shelf - because home cooking isn't really your thing. We'll try to convince you otherwise. With these recipes, we'll show you how incredibly tasty home-grown winter vegetables can be.

1 small white cabbage
1 Juice of one orange
1 bunch fresh dill
2 Table spoon vegan honey alternative
2 Table spoon Olive oil
1 Pinch Salt
1 Pinch Pepper
  • Step 1/5

Preheat the oven to 200 °C and line a baking tray with a baking mat.

  • Step 2/5

Chop the dill, put it in a bowl with all the other ingredients for the marinade and mix everything well.

  • Step 3/5

Halve the cabbage and then cut large triangular wedges along the stalk so that the structure remains intact and the leaves do not fall apart.

  • Step 4/5

Place the cabbage wedges on the baking mat and brush them generously with the marinade.

  • Step 5/5

The next step is to wait: put the cabbage wedges in the oven for about 20 minutes until they are golden brown and slightly crispy. Goes great with potato gratin!
