At KoRo, we analyse the greenhouse gas emissions that are produced during the production of our snacks. These include, among other things, CO2, methane and nitrous oxide. Our hard-working sustainability team collects all the information to calculate a value: the so-called CO2 equivalents. There is an air of celebration! 10 years of KoRo

How time flies when you're having fun! And in the meantime KoRo has already turned ten years old! Despite a few white hairs (could it be age? could it be life as a startupper?), our reality is still young and vibrant: we have grown uputә a lot in these years, and amazing things have happened!

Die besten Rezepte sind die einfachsten. Und die Kombination aus Kokos und Schoko ist so gut, da braucht es keinen zusätzlichen Schnickschnack. Daher nutzen wir für unsere schokolierte Geile Schnitte nur eine Handvoll natürliche Zutaten aus biologischem Anbau.

Saftige Masse aus Kokosraspeln

In einen Kokosriegel gehört natürlich eine ordentliche Ladung Kokos. Unsere Füllung besteht aus einer großen Ladung frischer Kokosraspeln, die wir mit Reissirup zu einer saftig-fruchtigen Masse vermischen.

Auf dem Blech wie ein Teppich ausgerollt

Ist die Masse nun ordentlich durchpüriert, wird sie wie ein Teppich auf einem Blech ausgerollt. Dort kühlen die Geilen Schnitten aus und werden anschließend in mundgerechte Happen portioniert.

Veganer Schokoladenüberzug

Bei einem Schokoriegel darf die dicke Schicht Schokoladenüberzug nicht fehlen. Wir benutzen dafür allerdings keine gewöhnliche Milchschokolade. Damit auch alle Veganer in den Genuss unserer Geilen Schnitte kommen können, haben wir eine rein pflanzliche Rezeptur für den zartschmelzenden Schoko-Überzug entwickelt.
