In a bowl, carefully weigh the flour and then add the sugar, butter and a pinch of vanilla. Mix the vegan egg substitute with half the water (50 ml). Mix everything together to form a smooth dough.

Divide the dough into as many different portions as you have colors (for us it was 5 portions, each weighing about 100 g) and gently work the colors into the dough. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour until it is firm.

Form the dough portions into small "burgers" and stack them on top of each other. Then use a rolling pin to roll out the dough. Now form the dough into a roll. Now you can roll the roll in colored beads.

Now cut the dough roll into slices about 0.5 cm thick and bake them in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius (not too long, they should not brown!).
