Price adjustments are part of KoRo's regular operational business. Our goal is to always offer our customers the best possible value for money. For example, if raw materials become cheaper, we can pass on this advantage directly to customers. We also do not need to anticipate potential price increases in the future, giving us the freedom to raise prices only when absolutely necessary. Unlike many retailers who often aim to keep prices constant for as long as possible, at KoRo we prefer to maintain high flexibility in this regard. This means that we regularly review our prices and adjust them according to current market conditions.
You can also track the various price adjustments transparently at any time via our price graph on the product detail page. Transparency and fairness are central values at KoRo!
Why are prices increased at KoRo Italy?
The current price adjustment has something to do with the average prices for similar products in Italy.
The basis for our prices is our purchase price or our production costs, logistics and other administrative costs as well as the price of comparable competitors. Since KoRo originally comes from Germany and we have only been gaining a foothold on the Italian market for a few years, our prices have been so far based on the usual market prices in Germany. As the company grew in size and therefore more capacity, we were now able to look at a comprehensive analysis of prices in Italy. We have found that the current prices of some of our products are not sustainable for us, also considering the higher logistic costs to sell in Italy compared to Germany.
we are significantly too cheap and therefore not sufficiently economical.
Even though we are now increasing prices, we continue to offer you a fair price-performance ratio, which is based on the Italian average.
To be more precise, our prices are in the middle range
. In this way we can build KoRo to be stable in the long term so that we can continue to offer you our delicious and high quality products and maybe be able to reduce our prices again in the future.
