In order to create a seed mix worthy of your salads, we have drawn fully from our amazingly wide selection of seeds. We have chosen organic sunflower seeds and unrefined pumpkin seeds for the basis; then, as we wanted to take the mix to another level of crunchiness, we have thrown in some delicious roasted large beans, soybeans, and peas; edamame added an exotic touch, and the fancy cherry on top took the shape (and delicate taste) of pine nuts. Voilá: the ultimate mix thanks to which you will never again combine the words "boring" and "salad". Kerne aus reifen Kürbissen

Kürbissen, deren Kerne weiterverarbeitet werden sollen, ernten die Bauern erst im überreifen Stadium. So können die Kürbiskerne leichter abgelöst werden. Dies geschieht meist in sorgfältiger Handarbeit oder mit stumpfen Hakenwalzen. Die Kürbiskerne werden anschließend gewaschen, sortiert und getrocknet.

Schälen der Sonnenblumenkerne

Wenn Du schon einmal Sonnenblumenkerne mit Schale gekauft hast, weißt Du, wie langwierig und aufwendig das Schälen ist. Wir schälen die Sonnenblumenkerne für unseren Salatkerne-Mix nicht händisch, sondern greifen auf Sonnenblumenkernverarbeitungsanlagen zurück. Hinter diesem langen Wort versteckt sich eine große Maschine, die innerhalb von Millisekunden Kern um Kern von der Schale befreit.

Das Beste aus der Welt der Bohnen und Erbsen

Da wir nicht irgendeine x-beliebige Kernmischung für unsere Salate wollten, haben wir lange an der perfekt ausgewogenen Rezeptur aus naturbelassenen und gerösteten Kernen gearbeitet. Unsere nicht-so-geheimen Geheimzutaten zur exotischen, aber dennoch klassischen Salatkernmischung sind schwarze Sojabohnen, Edamame, Erbsen und dicke Bohnen. Geröstet und mit Salz abgeschmeckt rundet der Bohnen-Erbsen Mix die naturbelassenen Kerne harmonisch ab.

Zusammengemixt und in die Großpackung abgefüllt

Im großen Fass werden die Sonnenblumenkerne, Edamame, dicken Bohnen, Kürbiskerne, Pinienkerne, Sojabohnen und alle anderen Kerne nun ordentlich durchgemischt, so dass das Mischverhältnis in allen Abfüllungen ähnlich ist.
