Indian chai tea without black tea

For your me-time, we've selected the finest spices and blended them into your chai tea. Cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves and black pepper create a spicy-cinnamony combination that you can't get enough of. Unlike many other chai varieties, our organic tea does not contain black tea and is therefore caffeine-free. What's more, our spiced tea blend is made in Germany. For the perfect chai flavour, you can refine our chai tea with milk or a plant drink of your choice.

Chai, Cha or Çay? The best chai tea at KoRo

Chai is a spicy tea blend from India. It is classically drunk there with milk and sugar or honey. At the beginning of the 17th century, tea came from China to Europe and with it its name. In Russia it is called "chay", in Turkey "çay" and in China "cha". Translated, "chai" means tea, by the way. Yep, so in principle, when we say "chai tea", we are saying nothing other than "tea tea". Combined with foamed milk or a plant drink, you get a delicious Chai Tea Latte, also known simply as Chai Latte. But before you get the overpriced version from the coffee shop, you can save yourself some money with our organic chai tea and enjoy it at any time of the day.

Preparing organic chai

At KoRo we always give 100%, but unfortunately we can't always wait for you with a teapot of freshly brewed tea. Therefore, we have made the preparation as simple as possible. Put 2 grams of the tea blend into a tea filter or tea strainer and pour 200 ml of boiling water over it. Now you just have to let it steep for 5 minutes and you can start sipping. Why loose tea? It's simple: this way we don't create any additional packaging waste and thanks to the 500 gram value pack we can also pass on a price advantage to you. With the same great taste, of course. Quite ingenious, isn't it?

Is the chai vegan?

Yes, our Chai Tea is vegan, because we use only vegetable spices for the tea. By the way, our organic chai latte mix is too!

What is chai tea?

Chai tea is a type of tea from India and is called Chai Masala there. Because "Chai" translated means tea (yes, so we say nothing else than "tea tea"), "Masala" means the mixture. Traditionally, you will find cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, clove and black pepper in the unique recipe. No more and no less is also on our list of ingredients. Due to its unmistakable spicy aroma, it is now also a popular autumn and winter tea in Germany.

Is the chai in a tea bag or loose?

Can I drink chai tea with milk?

Where does chai tea come from?

Our chai tea is produced in Germany. The individual ingredients are put together by a production employee and put into the mixing machine, where they are blended by machine. However, Chai has its origin in India. You can read more about it under the question "What is Chai tea?
