Peanut kernels: Facts about the fake nut
Did you know that peanuts are not actually nuts, but legumes? They are the seeds of the peanut bush and sink toward the ground as they grow. When they reach the ground, they burrow into the soil - until they are pulled out again at harvest time and then dried. We coat them with gourmet chocolate by passing them through a chocolate bath. This means our cheeky little peanuts are hiding behind their fake nut name and a creamy chocolate coating. But does anyone really care about that with so much delicious flavour?
