Price adjustments for KoRo Switzerland: everything you need to know
As you may have already noticed, we have adjusted the prices of around 90 products – that's about 11% of the entire range. This is a price increase for selected products across our range. We would like to explain to you in more detail why this was necessary.

Shrinkflation - when companies play tricks with packaging sizes
Inflation accompanies us to the supermarket: not only does it feel like everything is twice as expensive and the shopping basket is only half as full. What some companies then do is called shrinkflation. Contents shrink while the packaging remains the same size.
Our Energy Balls - less packaging, same content
You know and love them - our energy balls. Whether for between meals, to satisfy a small hunger or as a gourmet snack: the small balls made from dates and with lots of delicious ingredients such as nut butter, cocoa or cashews are a real KoRo classic. As a KoRo connoisseur, you may have noticed that some of our energy balls already have new packaging. Here we explain why this will be changed step by step for all of them from now on:
A visit to the KoRo Café
We made our way to the KoRo Café on Alexanderplatz in Berlin. It's lively and colorful here, the café is located on a busy corner, right on one of the capital's tourist hotspots. We meet up with Laura, who is the store manager and has been with the café since it opened in May 2022.

Welcome to KoRo Café
Berliners, Berliners-by-choice and visitors take note! The KoRo Café has finally opened its doors at Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße 7 in Berlin-Mitte!
Why KoRo is now lowering many prices
Around 600 products will now be offered at a lower price, while the price of around 350 products will increase. The overall range will therefore be slightly cheaper on average. You can find out why we are doing this and how it fits in with the current market situation, in which many things are actually becoming more expensive, here.
Price adjustment - compensation of the price increase
At the end of May we had to raise our prices by 7.3%, which made some of our products uncompetitive. We are now adjusting our calculation to compensate for the price increase.

Having recently reduced our prices by an average of 5%, we have to increase our prices again by 7.3%.
